Regaining harmony

I have run out of words
Here I am on my very own
Nothing to say
A lot to observe

Trying to make sense of the nonsense
Struggling to locate the symmetry of the self
Promiscuous feelings confusing everything
Provocative thoughts tempting the heart
Pretentious blasphemies insulting the soul

Overwhelming ego’s cacophony
Forcing the slow brewing of mixed feelings
One big pot to mix them all
Quietly observing and appreciating what it is

Attentive to the Universe messages
Resisting the resistance to what it is
Making a conscious effort to go with the flow
Getting deep into the being
Silently conversing with the soul
Free of pretends and inflexible principles
At peace with what it is
Unconditionally loving the self

Relatable, reminds me of stuff I used to regularly write ten, fifteen years ago (and still occasionally write when S.A.D. really kicks in). Good work. :)

I have enjoyed following your thoughts and will continue to do so. Beautiful poem and I love the photo of the Iguana.

" God dances with God eternally in the moment of NOW. "

Beyond the strife of ego the GodSelf awaits.

Namaste, my sister, freedom from fear...

I liked your use of alliteration. And yes, go with the flow. There is a Buddhist saying: "Don't fight against the river."

Regards.

Very spiritual. You have a nice take on life...can I borrow it? If only for a little while?

Love encompasses all; in order to give to others you have to give yourself respect, honesty, and joy.
Well written here. Thanks, Gay @beachanny

It's my belief that we ebb and flow like the tides.

When you don't feel anything wanting to flow out, it's time for you to take things in - absorb the world around you until you're filled again. Then you can once more begin to flow.

Nice One Shot, Gabi!

Dear Gabriela

The journey to the innerself, with out the ego, is one of the profound experiences... and that one experience your are very beautifully putting in words, not for us actually but for yourself too... I have always believed that putting your thoughts in words is meditative experience too...

I flow in and out of harmony continually. Your poem is a good description of the desire to put love over fear and spirit over ego.

Gabriel this is quite the exploration of the soul....beautiful and true...harmony does not come in peace...it comes down a rocky road to acceptance. Love this poem!
