I want to paint the world with lively colors, full of hope and understanding.
I want to brush away all conflicts, global warming, sadness and unkindness
I want to inspire confidence, trust, freedom and creativity
I want to paint all the unseen things so that the rest of the world can enjoy their beauty
I want to brush away the general indifference and unconsciousness
I want to surprise the world and shake it for as long as it’s needed.
I want to paint what I see and how I see it while I travel through life.

A refreshing and beautiful post, your words and your selection of wonderful photographs are inspiring. I too long to paint the world :)
Oh, this is beautiful, Gabi... I so relate to your words and wishes. Your world today is full of color; such a contrast to my drab, sad sepia (referring to my post, not my life.)
you paint it beautifully with your words and pics...there are those that would paint it in shadow...but i like it vibrant...happy tt!
Well I think you do all of that, except perhaps global warming. That's a biggie and you may need a little help. I love the green fly on the daisy pic.
ah, I echo that poem.. lovely thoughts..! and images to match as well. Amazing :)
love the pictures...and inspirational words. thanks
Beautiful! :)
there are also some things I want to brush away...this was really beautiful writing - and the pictures are AMAZING!!
Is that a setting sun in the second picture, or early evening full moon? I can't tell. Whatever it is, it's an interesting contrast to the TV attenna on the old looking building.
both the images and words are beautiful, evocative. you have a sense of your enviroment that few can capture.
Thank you all for your tender words.
Kirk: I took that picture at 7am - and it is a full moon - a real gift from the universe ;)
Lorraine: thanks for you continuous encouragement. How are you doing with the 7D?

i so like that rooftop photo. my first guess is that's the sun in the morning.
beautiful colors.
i really like the i want repetition.
I couldn't help recalling an old joke as I read through this entertaining post: "They say it's a small world, but wouldn't you hate to have to paint it?"
very uplifting!
only if it was that easy... inspiring poem :)
If only, we could paint this world. What gorgeous photos and inspirational verse.
You paint the world with joy.
I couldn't decide what was more inspiring, the words or the images!
Loved the colors Gabi, those with which you painted the verse, as well as that of the images! ;)
Beautiful photos -- I love the moon one. It's wonderful by itself but it's a picture that could inspire haiku -- which that were my poetic forte.
Wonderful words and images, especially the moon.
wonderfully uplifting/refreshing post, gabi! and magnificently beautiful images! what a treat to visit here! hope your day is treating you well - jenean
