Mirror, mirror of my soul
Please tell me why you howl
Every time I look at you
Why are you playing games with me?
I dislike what you reveal
Please reflect only nice things
Just the ones I like to see
Mirror, mirror of my soul
Let’s create a better world
Just by changing our approach
When reflecting what we see
Let’s get undressed
Throw away our prejudices
Tear up intolerance
Erase discrimination
Don’t stop until we are naked
Mirror, mirror of my soul
Why did you stop reflecting?

I loved this, well written.
Well, that last line makes one stop and think....
Just beautiful!
Interesting thoughts. Tricky mirror.
Yes, we really do need to think about what we reflect to the world. I really enjoyed this reflective poem (no pun intended).
Very nice. We all need to feel a little more love when looking in the mirror and a lot less judgment. And also to remember when we look at others- especially those we admire- that they're all mirrors too.
This is profound and thought-provoking...especilly the ending. It's as if the image is pausing to reflect on its own reflection.
Lovely poem. It contains so much truth, and reflects your essence so well.
sing song voice, so pleasant to read.
The soul's love song....for hope...truly beautiful Gabriela!
Lovely poem. A cry for tolerance and more.
mirrors reflect only what they see..
change your image
that's the key
"Just by changing our approach
When reflecting what we see"... there's no absolute true,no absolute good or bad, right or wrong... lovely Gabi! powerful promt too.
It's funny, mirrors only reflect what is before them, but also as in a house of mirrors... what we see is not always what is there.
Wd b nice 2 have a magic mirror 2 give us what we want.
Mirrors truly show us our souls and dreams, when we look close enough.
I like your touching on the fairy tale (Mirror, Mirror et all), then bringing in the reality of life.
This is very thought provoking, a mirror to show our inner being.
Yes.... very thought provoking. May we see our souls in our mirrors forever!
so very well written and thoughtful
I enjoyed this and loved how it provoked thought. Nice Magpie!
My Magpie
No doubt, this is quite profound...Reflecting the soul is good, reflecting the ego is what must change..
Very well written Mag. Love and Light, Sender
Gabriela-
Your kind spirit is already reflecting a very lovely person. I love your writing and your poem touches me at my core. Have a wonderful day my friend.

Beautifully written.
That old howling mirror always reveals the truth I guess.
dont believe what you see...only measure it and decide what you need to change...really like the verse about getting undressed and laying aside prejudice...
i love this thought provoking magpie
